What we do
What does Let's Build My App actually do?
We design, build and launch custom software for founders and small-to-medium businesses. That covers SaaS products, marketplaces, client portals, internal tools and CRMs. We use AI coding tools like Claude Code and OpenAI Codex as part of how we work, which is what lets a small US-based team ship production code quickly.
Who do you work best with?
People who have a real business problem and need working software, but do not have an engineering team to build it. Most of our clients are founders validating an idea, or established businesses that have outgrown spreadsheets and off-the-shelf tools.
Who should not hire us?
If you want to build and maintain the product yourself in a self-service tool, you do not need an agency. If you only need a landing page, a form or a single automation, that is smaller than what our plans are built for. And if your main goal is the cheapest possible prototype rather than software you can run a business on, we are probably not the right fit.
Scope and timeline
How quickly can I have something live?
Most first versions are live in two to four weeks. Larger builds and migrations take longer, but you see working software early and continuously rather than waiting months for one delivery.
How does a project start?
It starts with a free strategy call. We work through what you are building, who it is for and what the first version needs to do. From there we agree a plan and a prioritised list of requests, and the first planning meeting turns that into scheduled work.
Can you take over a project someone else started?
Yes. Taking over stalled, half-finished or inherited codebases is regular work for us. We start by reviewing what exists and telling you honestly what is worth keeping and what is not.
Ownership and commitment
Who owns the code?
You do, from day one. Everything we build ships into your repository on your accounts.
What happens if we stop working together?
You keep everything. The code is already in your repository, running on infrastructure in your name, so there is nothing to hand over and nothing to unwind. Plans are monthly and you can stop at the end of any month.
Do I have to host with you?
No. Your app runs on your own accounts, typically Firebase, Supabase or similar. We set them up in your name so you are never locked into us for access to your own product.
How we build
What technology do you build with?
Most projects are React and TypeScript on the front end, with Firebase or Supabase and Postgres behind them. We add Stripe for payments, Resend for email and the Anthropic Claude SDK where AI features make sense. We pick the stack to fit the product, not the other way round.
Do you build mobile apps?
Yes, including native iOS and Android, alongside mobile-first web apps. Which one is right depends on whether you genuinely need app store distribution and device features, and that is worth deciding deliberately rather than by default.
Can you work in regulated industries?
Yes. We have shipped software in healthcare, insurance and fintech, including clinical and Medicare-facing products, insurance claim tooling and financial dashboards. Compliance requirements differ a lot by product, so bring yours to the strategy call and we will scope them in properly rather than promise them in the abstract.
Do you use AI to write the code?
Yes, deliberately and openly. AI coding tools are how a small US-based team ships production software this quickly. A person still designs the system, reviews every change and is accountable for what goes live.
Do you still build in Bubble?
Yes, and we also migrate Bubble apps to production code. We are one of the most experienced US-based Bubble teams, with 200+ products shipped, so we can tell you honestly whether staying on Bubble or moving off it serves you better.
Cost
What does it cost?
Flat monthly plans starting at $1,750 per month, with a set number of requests included. There is no hourly billing and no surprise invoices. Full detail is on the pricing page.
Do you do fixed-price projects?
For larger builds, migrations on a deadline or anything that does not fit a standard plan, we quote a custom plan with scope and timeline agreed up front. Talk to us and we will tell you which model suits the work.
