Collection of Information

Information You Provide to Us

For example, we collect information when you subscribe to our newsletter or email list, download an app (only when you provide your email address when registering for notifications), sign up for our Meal Planner, Online Cooking School or  participate in any interactive features of the Sites, participate in a survey, contest, promotion or event, order or purchase (either for yourself or for another person) products or services made available through the Sites (collectively, the “Products”), apply for a job, communicate with us via third party social media sites, request customer support or otherwise communicate with us.

The types of information we may collect from you include:
(a) Account Information, such as your name, email address, password, postal address, phone number, subscription, delivery and dietary preferences and any other information you choose to provide;
(b) Transaction Information, such as information about the Products you purchase, shipping and delivery information and information related to returns, refunds and cancellations. We may also collect and store limited payment information from you, such as payment card type and expiration date and the last four digits of your payment card number; however, we do not collect or store full payment card numbers and all transactions are processed by our third-party payment processor. We use SSL certificates with a 256 bit encryption.
(c) Information About Others, such as the names and email addresses of gift recipients when you purchase an item for another person.
(d) Other Information You Choose to Provide, such as when you participate in a survey, contest, promotion or interactive area of the Sites or when you request technical or customer support.

Information We Collect Automatically

At the current time, we do not allow third party advertising on our site and do not share information about you with third parties unrelated to the services we provide you. We may also work with third party social media sites, such as Facebook, to serve ads to you as part of a customized campaign, unless you notify us that you prefer not to have information about you used in this way. Information Collected from Visitors

For the purposes of providing customer support, LetsBuildMyApp relies on a third-party service called Full Story to collect information on your use of our Site, such as pages visited, links clicked, non-sensitive text entered, and mouse movements, as well as information more commonly collected such as the referring URL, browser, operating system, cookie information, and Internet Service Provider (“Usage Data”).Our purpose in collecting Usage Information is to better understand how LetsBuildMyApp Visitors use the Site. LetsBuildMyApp does not use the Usage Information to identify its Visitors and does not disclose the Usage Information other than under the circumstances described in this Privacy Policy.

As a Visitor, LetsBuildMyApp collects potentially personally identifying information like Internet Protocol (or “IP”) addresses (“Potential PII”). Also, you may choose to interact with the Site that results in your providing Personal Information to LetsBuildMyApp, such as giving us your name, user name and password when signing up for a free trial of the Service.

If you wish to prevent LetsBuildMyApp from using the FullStory Services to be able to record activity when using the service, you can opt-out of FullStory Services. Opting out will create a cookie that tells FullStory to turn off recording on any site which uses the FullStory Services. The presence of this cookie is required to continue opting out, so if you clear your browser cookies, you will have to opt-out again. (We regret that there isn't a better way to make your opt-out more permanent, but due to technical reasons, this really is the best we can do at present.)

Location Information

With your consent, we may collect information about your actual location when you use our mobile applications. You may stop the collection of this information at any time by changing the settings on your mobile device, but note that some features of our mobile applications may no longer function if you do so.

Cookies

Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can usually choose to set your browser to remove or reject browser cookies. Please note that if you choose to remove or reject cookies, this could affect the availability and functionality of the Sites.

Customized Campaigns

The fastest way to opt out of receiving promotional communications from us is to visit your notification settings in your LetsBuildMyApp account. You can also email support@letsbuildmyapp.io to request to be removed within 48 hours. If you opt out, we may still send you essential non-promotional communications, such as notifications related to your account or our ongoing business relations.
