Sound familiar?

SLOW WITH REAL USERS

Adalo made the demo easy. Now real users are loading real data, screens take seconds to render, and there's no setting left to tweak.

Loading spinners are the #1 complaint we hear from Adalo founders

APP STORE FRICTION

Every update means waiting on Adalo's build pipeline and hoping review goes smoothly — and the published app never feels quite as polished as a true native one.

Reviewers hold wrapped apps to the same bar as native ones

ACTION & RECORD LIMITS

Monthly app actions and database records are metered, so a good growth month pushes you straight into the next pricing tier.

Success shouldn't come with a penalty tier

THE DATABASE RUNS OUT OF DEPTH

Complex relationships, filtered lists, and reporting stretch Adalo's collections past what they were designed to do.

Real products eventually need a real database

CUSTOM LOGIC DOESN'T FIT

The feature your users are asking for doesn't exist as a component, and custom actions only take you so far before you're fighting the platform.

In code, any feature you can spec is a feature you can ship

HARD TO HIRE HELP

Adalo experts are rare, so small fixes sit in a queue. React and React Native developers are one of the largest talent pools in software.

Your next hire already knows React Native

Sometimes the answer is: stay on Adalo.

Adalo is genuinely good at what it's built for: putting an idea in front of users without a development budget. If you're still validating — a handful of testers, features changing weekly — stay put and keep learning cheaply. But once real users depend on your app every day, performance and pricing start working against you. That's when a rebuild pays for itself, and our free assessment tells you honestly which side of that line you're on.

What running your app actually costs

Staying on Adalo After migrating to code
Platform / hosting Per-app subscription tiers that step up as your app grows Firebase or Supabase, typically $25–$100 per month
Usage overage Monthly app-action and record limits — heavy usage forces the next tier Usage-based pricing you can cap, alert on, and predict
New features Limited to Adalo's components and marketplace add-ons Anything you can spec, your team or any developer can build
Ownership Your app lives inside Adalo's runtime and publishing pipeline Your repo, your data, your infrastructure

How the migration works

FREE MIGRATION ASSESSMENT

We look at your Adalo app, your plan tier, and where it hurts — then give you a straight verdict: stay on Adalo for now, or migrate — with a fixed quote and timeline if it's time to move.

If Adalo is still the right home, we'll say so. For free.

MAP THE APP

We document every screen, collection, action, and integration in your Adalo app — the full picture of what your users rely on, so nothing gets lost in translation.

Your app's behavior is the spec — we map all of it

REBUILD IN REAL CODE

Senior US-based developers rebuild your app as production-grade React Native + TypeScript on Supabase or Firebase. Weeks, not months.

Same app your users know — faster, and truly native

RUN IN PARALLEL

Your Adalo app stays live while we migrate your collections and verify the new build against it. You test every flow before anything changes for your users.

No downtime, no gap for your users

CUT OVER CLEAN

We ship the new version to the App Store and Google Play under your own developer accounts, hand you the GitHub repo, and stay on for post-launch support.

Got a question?

We have answers.

How much does an Adalo to code migration cost?

It depends on the size of your app — most migrations land in the range of a 4–10 week build. The free migration assessment gives you a fixed quote up front, so you know the full number before any work starts.

How long does the migration take?

Most Adalo apps migrate in 4–10 weeks. Your existing app keeps running the whole time, so there's never a gap where your users are left without a working product.

What happens to my users and data?

We export your Adalo collections and migrate them to Supabase or Firebase with verification passes along the way. Existing accounts carry over cleanly, and nothing is deleted from Adalo until you've signed off on the new app.

Will my app stay in the app stores during the migration?

Yes. Your current app stays published while we build. The new version ships as an update under your own Apple and Google developer accounts, so your users simply update — no reinstall, no lost reviews, no broken links.

Will you tell me if I should just stay on Adalo?

Yes. If you're still validating an idea with a small group of users, Adalo is often exactly the right place to be — and the assessment will say that, for free. We only recommend migrating when real users and real usage make the numbers work in your favor.
